As I started to look for ways that I could improve as a teacher, I was drawn towards the use of technology in the classroom and I was inspired. I have always been comfortable using technology, but I quickly realized that there was so much more that I could do with it. As a result of my year of change, I have made a conscious effort to teach in a different way. To teach in a way that allowed students to be much more involved in the learning process. It became a mini-mission to develop lessons which focused on two key components: creativity and collaboration. I still feel I have a long way to go in this regards, but I am extremely optimistic.
My personal year of change has also included a desire to share what I have learned with other teachers in my building and other schools when I can. I have added a "Teacher Resources" section to my website. This section will allow me to share what I find useful or what I find might be useful to others. If you find something you like, let me know. If you think there is something I should add, let me know that too.
